The entire range of Business Espoo services was available together with a delicious breakfast at the Business Boost event held at A Grid in Otaniemi.
The Business Boost event provided entrepreneurs and anyone interested in entrepreneurship with a wide variety of tips and advice at the growth company centre A Grid on Monday 28 October. The entire range of Business Espoo services was available at the event. Pop-up-style advice was provided on issues related to the establishment and development of a business as well as internationalisation, training and recruitment of skilled workers.
The purpose of the event was to provide more in-depth advice than what is possible at a typical trade fair. The participants had an excellent opportunity to obtain a wide range of advice on business development as the Business Boost event featured almost 25 service sector experts, providing assistance to entrepreneurs and those interested in entrepreneurship. The Business Espoo services had stands in the A Grid lobby, but it was also possible for people to discuss with experts in a more peaceful area. The event resulted in business advice appointments as well as invitations to take part in investor and networking events.
Now held for the first time, Business Boost is part of the Ecosystems of Growth project based on the 6Aika strategy. The project is under way in the six largest cities in Finland. The aim is to boost the growth potential of companies by making it easier for them to find business services and by improving their paths to relevant business services and research, development and innovation activities.
The next Business Boost event will take place on 4 December from 9:00 to 12:00 at A Grid. The range of services available will be even more extensive. In addition to the Business Espoo network, the event will feature Business Finland, Helsinki Business Hub, FiBAN, Finnvera, Aalto Startup Center, ESA BIC Finland and A Grid.
